I was born and raised on Long Island, NY (no, I don't have the accent) and left for the city and the NYU art program as soon as I could. After graduation I decided to spend a year in Austin, Texas. Then it was back to good ole NYC for another year or so, and then off to Oxford, England where I lived for two wonderful years. I am now back in my beloved New York and in a new flat in Astoria Queens where I hope to reside happily for many years, along with my partner Geoff and our wonderful kitty Benji. I like cooking up a storm, traveling (obviously), and pictures of hedgehogs. I also fancy myself a bit of a painter, so please check out my fine art site when it's up and running. Cheers! |

reiss, a one-woman designing, drawing, illustrating wonder. What
started as a way of making a little bit of pocket money while at
art school grew into a (mostly) steady career. So far I have yet
to say no to any freelancing job as long as it involves making a
web site, noodling on the computer using one or two of my favorite
designing programs or anything involving, pens, pencils, inks, and
paints. If I get to do it while wearing my pjs and listening to
bbc radio quiz shows — even better.>> don't steal my images, for you will be found and eaten.
